The Jersey City Republican Party

The Jersey City Republican Party includes a robust group of residents from all walks of life and a myriad of ethnicities and religions. Regardless of our backgrounds, we're united together by the common thread to improve our working and living environment in the second largest city in the State.

For many of our members, English is a second language and we hear their voices clearly and welcome them into the fold. Our members hail from all parts of the globe and they chose Jersey City to live, work and raise their families.

The Jersey City Republican Party stands for a prosperous and safe Jersey City. We envision a City with a dynamic and flourishing economy where both businesses and workers thrive, strong and healthy families live, and reformed, responsive, and ethical local and County governments serve the people effectively and efficiency while protecting individual liberty.

The Jersey City Municipal Committee

The Jersey City Municipal Committee is composed of members of the Republican Party duly elected from voting districts in the City. The powers, rights, privileges, and duties of the Municipal Committee are authorized by state law (NJSA Title 19).

The Committee has the authority to receive and disburse moneys for the purpose of maintaining Party organization, for recruiting and electing candidates for City office, publicizing the policies and candidates for local office, and for supporting Republican candidates for local, county, state and national office.
